WYLUG Meeting (last night)

Hi

Last nights meeting in Leeds was quite interesting.

Hannah Dee gave a demo of the use and misuse of The Gimp. Even I
understood how to use it after her explanation. After that Qin Li
gave a detailed and longish explanation of FreeBSD which was every
bit as good as I hoped it would be. Well done Qin :-)

I was then asked to stand up in front of everyone and give a quick
two minute talk on Sheflug. Not knowing what to do (without notes) I
gave them a quick chat about Sheflug (60 seconds) and then a tour
round the web site with the explanation that we do have a discussion
list which they can subscribe to if they want to ask questions. I
think some off them want to come over here on the 26th to have a
pleasant chat.
