Re: PC Plus Russian Processor
This processor was in the news a while ago - the technology behind the
design would allow the processor to very rapidly outpace existing monolithic
cpus when the .35 micron design migrates to .25 or even .18. The only
drawback is that the Russians can't afford to fabricate the silicon - so the
design works on paper at the moment. Can't see that situation lasting -
money on either Intel or AMD buying the design making it or burying it.
BTW, you know that Linus himself is working on a radical new processor in
his day job.
