Firstly, Alex - thanks for the note on DVD stuff. I'll check it out later.
Regarding LDD (gotta love abbrevations), I think the only way to get PCW
buy in is if we demo on their hardware. That is, take a box already
running 'evil OS of redmond', poke it around a bit with fips, and install
RH. As you note Paul Alex, they are box shifters. If they see it as
an opportunity to shift units of RH and possibly PC's they may be more
flexible. Plus it gets around the insurance stuff.
What would be really great is buy-in from RH. They have no reps in the
UK as far as I know. Out here, they show up in stores (Frys, CompUSA
etc) and demo linux with the ever useful 'lubrication' of free T
shirts. Free stuff works, if we didn't all agree, we wouldn't be here. ;)
