UK E-Commerce Bill
Hello
This isn't strictly anything to do with Linux but encryption is used
to certify Linux and Unix files so it might interest you.......
>*** Sun slams UK e-commerce bill
>(Silicon.com) - Leading IT company, Sun Microsystems, has broken
>ranks with the rest of the vendor community to attack the British
>government over its draft e-commerce bill. Rivals Intel, IBM and
>Microsoft have fallen over themselves to welcome the draft

The e-commerce bill is all about giving your own domestic data to
anyone who wants to read it. From my own point of view it suggests
that this is something that the U.S FBI wish to support. I wouldn't
know about the Canadian FBI.
I don't read Slashbdot org. Makes me cringe to look at the site.
Thanks
