Iris Explorer
Hello
NAG Systems have promised me a Linux version of their Iris Explorer
for the demo day. This is visualisation software that is used by
NASA and Nike and other organisations of that sort for easy
translation of mathematical ideas into 3D objects for modelling
purposes. They also want to come over the Sheffield to give a demo
and to give a presentation about this product.
I've said yes to this. Anyone who hasn't seen this kind of software
demonstrated would greatly benefit from the presentation and demo.
Bit like going to your first firework display :-)
Please do send e-mail to me if you want to know more. Those of us
at Sheffield University might like to forward this e-mail to the
Physics, Chemistry and Engineering Departments. I should think Leeds
and Manchester University would be interested as well ?
Thanks
Richard
