SuSE 6.2 Evaluation

Attention all list members : I have done a test install using the 6.2 eval
disk, which gave errors installing cpio (bad magic number) which then makes
the rest of the installation more work than it should be. Anyone else with
this disk please do a test installation see if you get the same errors. If
so it kind of rules out using this disk at the Linux Demo Day event. If you
get the same result we'll have to pass this back to SuSE with some urgency.

On a happier note, the Caldera 2.2 installation was a dream, making SuSE
look rather clanky.

IMHO, we should target the general public at the demo day with COL 2.2 as it
is a most impressive and smooth process. And you get to play Tetris while it
installs !
