Raid 0 to 5

My best guess is: the kernel. Oops. Check to see what is issuing the
messages; I'll bet it's vmlinux hisself.
RAID = redundant array of independent disks. A performance
optimization: speed or safety, or maybe both. The 0-5 are various
levels of implementation of features. It's the multiple
device driver that you can [de]select in kernel config. I don't
think this can be modularized at the present time; you'll have to
rebuild.
There's also raidtools; that's on Debian, I dunno what they'd be
called on SuSE, I think you're running? I suspect that it's not an
addon package of utilities, though, it's probably the kernel itself.
I think this trend of the various distributions toward bloating
kernels through feeping creaturitis is a bad idea....
