You're preaching to the choir, here. :-)

_We_ all seem to realize that's what's cool about Linux; why can't
Red Hat and SuSE and even Debian figure that out? (At least Debian
provide the `kernel-package' package which allows you to make kernel
packages in a very simple and standard way, without dealing with all
the crap---dependencies and such---that a full-blown application
does.)

WTF!!?! This list is distributing commercials about a service that is
an anti-competitive me-too attempt to suck the profit out of a
rival's service? :-(
