You posted that nobody in the commercial sector wanted to
support or sponsor the ShefLUG - remember?

You said that you'd thought about getting your own domain for the
ShefLUG, but couldn't afford it - remember?

I've offered to put some money into the ShefLUG in order to raise
the profile for the 'general public' as I believe that Linux is the future
for many - without asking for any recognition, didn't post the offer to
the list, and seek(ed) no publicity from such an offer. i.e.; ShefLUG
gets some 'informal' support from someone who likes to think that
Linux could potentially challenge the blinkered Micro$oft
dominance in the PC marketplace. Understand?
