RE: modem config.............



A prime example of html email buggering up the works........please set your
mail proggy (Outlook I expect) to use plain text when posting to lists.

I've tried to run kppp with a standard fresh install of rh6.0 and also
after compiling the new 2.2.13 kernel with as many relevant parts
compiled in, on both occasions it reports that the modem is
busy!</FONT></DIV> <DIV>nbsp;</DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial>I've played
around with the initialisation string and initialisation delay's device
location (e.g. /dev/ttys0 ...etc) all with no joy.</FONT></DIV>

information for a few of you, at least, to agree some common ground on
