i have an Epson stylus 400 at work and I'm certain it has none of the dip
switch features you are hoping for. i believe (although I'm not certain of
this) it rely's on a software driver to utilise all of the printer
features.(similar to 'winmodems' which LINUX does not support!). i use it on
a win95 laptop which almost grinds to a halt when i try and print
anything(suggests it's using the processor heavily in the print process). i
suppose that's the reason they're so cheap!
