Sheflug's distro rantings ;)) Nice concept. . . although I presume you
meant rankings, or ratings. . . or, perhaps you didn't! Heh, either way,
that *would* cause arguments!
Generally, the way I do things: get a GPL cd, install it, if it works I
then buy the proper thing, if not, I don't. I use the GPL CDs as very good
demonstrations, pretty much, and if the GPL doesn't work, I don't send the
company my money ;) I used RH5.2 once upon a time, because the GPL CD
worked well - I then went out and bought the boxed set the powertools.
On another machine, I did the same again: tried RH6.0. It didn't work, and
I certainly didn't buy the boxed set ..
