Documentation for GCC
Help! Its me again, and this time the problem is to do witht he
documention for GNU C and C++ compilers. The problems is not finding
it, its looking at it. I have the SuSE 6.1 distro and kdvi which
sould display the documents wont. I dont think the fonts are
installed, I've had a good look. They should be PK fonts whatever
they are. Also there is a function which supposedly generates missing
fonts which doesnt work.
The error message I get when I load kdvi is Whats this? A problem?
Pixels are missing. When the window appears there is a list of
pages,all of which are blank.
NOw I dont particularly require the fix for kdvi, what I would like
is the documentation upon the GCC compiler and the libraries, and the
only way I can do this that Ive found is to go to the GCC homepage
and load each page of each document manually and then save the files.
A Horrible task by anyones standards.
So what I ask for is either the documentation in a format which I can
view, which is easy to download, a converter of somesort to turn the
dvi into html or text or something, or a fix for kdvi itself.
You all saw the varied nature of the responses of my last query, I
should imagine this will be even more varied.
Thanks in advance.
Richard Fletcher.
