Re: file permisions
File permissions can be changed using the attrib command i.e.
attrib -r -h -s file.exe This remove the Read Only, Hidden, System
attributes. Change the - sign to + and you set those attributes, Remember
all you have under Win9x/DOS is hidden, system. read only, and archive
attributes. Under Win9x you can change attributes by highlighting.selecting
the file and right clicking which displays a pop-up menu. From the menu
select properties and there you are, the attributes are display. You can set
or reset the attributes you want. Win9x/DOS knows nothing about Linux
permissions. The problem is Win9x/DOS not Linux
