RE: Partitions Compression

Four PRIMARY partitions are the max. With an EXTENDED partition you can
have (almost) unlimited LOGICAL partitions. At this point you may be a
little over-commited on the partitions on your disk unless you adopted a
DOS-type setup of 1 primary 1 extended with the rest as logical inside
the extended.

ARJ - there should be unarj on your 6.3, I used it to extract pq on my
laptop because winzip doesn't have the .arj support built in. unarj e
<archive_file> will extract the archive, then copy it over to a DOS floppy
- copy the big stuff first, you may find some of the tidgy files won't fit.

WARNING! This may be a stupid question...
Due to SuSE I have 3 partitions (swap, /boot, and /) and a fourth
partition for NT. Is it possible to have more partitions for other OSs?
or do I need another HD installed on my machine...

Oh yeah, Paul, you gave me Partition Magic, yes, Well I have
dearj, unrar, unzip, LHA, but no de/un-ark that Partition Magic is
compressed in. Anyone help here?

Thanks
