This is more likely down to your BIOS - go into setup check the clock is
correct. It's **just** possible that this is a Y2K effect with your BIOS
not liking 2000 in the date. What does date give you - if the time date
is ok then things are working ok-ish.

Hi there, on booting up to linux I get a Setting up CMOS
clock.....Failed. Hmmm.... Any ideas why? Its not seemingly
doing much to affect my system but I hate to show off and then
there is this failure message....
