Hi Baz,

I just meant directories, files and so forth. I'm no expert on this but I
was having problems getting at my files from a windows box on the network
and a discovered that almost every part of linux seems to have its own set
of permissions which have to be adjusted to either give or deny access or
set passwords etc. Very confusing at first until I found that most of them
seemed to default to read-only.
