Re: X Servers for win32 & telnet logins

Jose,

At the moment, all CD based software is sold via the Computer
Centre Reception desk, none of the satellite centres sell
anything other than floppy based stuff. This is more to
do with the fact that the CD copier is on Jean's desk
and distribution of high cost s/w (mostly MS) to all
4 corners of the uni. reduces security.

I have been thinking of asking Walnut Creek if I can copy
their 4 CD FBSD set as a promotion and then asking CJC if I can
use the Ed ITC as the distribution base (it needs his say so).

If CJC gives a go-ahead does anyone have CheapBytes versions
of 1 or 2 (no more - we don't wan't to cause distro confusion
in a new user) Linuces we can copy willy-nilly?

regards

Chriss
