Jobs
Hello
My copy of the Linux Journal and Physics World arrived today and both
of them are very interesting. The stuff about Dirac and Einstein is
always a good read :-) This month there's a feature on extra-solar
planets. IT experts from another world ? Or perhaps they use Linux
In the back of PW I can see three adverts which might interest someone
on this list ? Zeiss are advertising for post doctoral and post
graduate scientists. I have seen them looking for employees for a
long time.
The other two adds are more unusual. SuSE Ltd are advertising for a
technical translator, an IT Consultant and a Senior Consultant. Write
to <jobs [at] suse-linux.co.uk> for that. The following is the one that
should pull the crowd. Wrox are looking for trainee technical
authors. Looks like a very good job ? They want someone with a
science related degree. Write to <recruit [at] wrox.com> including
your CV.
Well, I've got to get off to London on Monday for a meeting at the
Royal Astronomical Society. It's a joint session with the Royal
Society of Chemistry and it's all about interstellar and planetary
chemistry.
Thanks
