mmmmm.... is it plugged in?!?! Could be a dodgy plug or something.. I
can't remember when I last got a NO CARRIER (admittidly, with a modem)
which wasn't a hardware fault, although your modem is virtual, so it
sounds like it can't find / talk to the isdn card..
