There are degrees of programming ability. A very good programmer
can write very good programs in any language. A very bad programmer
can write horrible code in any language. The middle ground is
where most people lie. Most programmers I've known have, at one
time or another, painted themselves into a corner where they don't
like the way they've programmed what they have but it would be
too much work to reprogram it (deadlines etc.). So they end up
jumping through all the hoops that are available to do the simplest
little things. C++ makes this easier, IMHO.
