Hello  dear friends ,
Its very nice to see here a linux fan club ..
My name is Bogdan Iftime I  am a visitor student here in Sheffield, from
Romania and a big fan of Linux/Unix world. I am here for my degree
project .."Web Solutions for Distance Learning"
I want to combine the power of  multimedia ( Macromedia FLASH Tech)with
some cgi/perl and why not Mysql...
I  have installed  here temporally   my own apache web server. on a SUN
machine..

After my own computer arrive here i try to port all my applications on a
little REDHAT linux server :).Will be 2 part : Linux and Win98.  I have
entered for first time in UNIX world 5 years ago   IBM-RS6000 UNIX -V.
I'm not a like a guru in unix /linux  ..i have installed some servers
.i know some administration ...security ...i like to be a web designer
..i want now to learn better PERL and some Databases  to make some
databases connectivity ...
Maybe you can help to install  mysql or php on linux  ..when is was the
time . 
Maybe i can know more about yours grup ..and participate at your
meetings ??
