Hassles with mounting RAID0 arrays after kernel rebuild.

Hey All.

 After killing my system to the point of having to reinstall most of the
system
again, I`m having problems getting my two new RAID partitions mounted
using a
new 2.2.14 kernel (with md built in, and RAID0 as a module) I`ve knocked
together to replace the stock
2.2.12-20.

 I`ve tried making an initrd to load raid0.o, which seems to happen,
however I
get messages at boot telling me that /dev/md0 and /dev/md1 must be
nonpersistant raid0 or linear
arrays.

 Er... never got that with the stock kernel.

 Whatever they are, they both run fine as RAID0 arrays under a stock
2.2.12-20
system.
