This is a distro independant issue....the drivers are part of the
kernel.
IIRC, all the versions of the Zip drive work. (Apart from my particular
drive, which is giving me problems - hint, hint: has anyone any ideas
about my out of space hassles - posted a while back?:)
Newer parallel port versions of the drive use the imm driver, only the
older ones use the ppa module.
The other thing to watch is the order in which you load the modules for
the printer and zip drive....make sure you load the zip module first (or
build it in).
It`s all covered in the HOW-TO`s.
