will I ever learn....
I just tried installing lnx4win for the third time (a masochist with time
on his hands is his own worst enemy). Some major inconsistencies in Drakx
have emerged - previous attempts never asked me for prefered X resolution
& colour depth in X for instance despite being told NOT to probe for
modes. I've a feeling this is where a lot of the problems are coming from
- the scripts underpinning Drax seem vulnerable to the slightest error,
The worst part of all this is that if the X config bombs, a reboot starts
reformatting the loopback system & the installation is lost. Sometimes the
space is not recovered by dos either - invisibly used space is only
spotted by scandisk but not properly recovered. Fortunately booting into
trusty SuSE let me delete this stuff behind dos's back.

Doesn't hold out much hope for Win2000 does it?
