It was an absolute cracker :-) You should have come down. Sorry to

I find that as a general rule the Epson printers don't like Linux.
Other people find otherwise but my Epson Color 300 refuses to work
with Linux at all.
The HP printers tend to be very good and you can even get them to
print in colour. I'm still using a DJ600 and it's really good. Stay
away from Canon they don't work with Windows either.
