Oh dear. You're stepping into the arcane world of Netscape config here,
where mortals fear to tread and Elec Eng lecturers shudder with revulsion...

It involves editing the Netscape global app-defaults file. Quoting
more-or-less verbatim from my notes on the subject:

'To enable other fonts in Mozilla, (such as those specified by a <font
face='whatever'>), edit the global app-defaults file for Netscape and look
for a line in the fonts which contain the font you're after. The charset
lines are the last two parts of the adobe font description, and you should
set the most appropriate one to your character set (iso-8859-1 for most
people).'

To be honest, I'm not entirely sure what that means fully anymore - it's now
been probably 6 months since I wrote that, but I did manage to get the
symbol font working properly...

Have a hack in the app-defaults file and see if you can get it going. If
you can't, let me know and I'll try looking in the app-defaults file for the
specifics, and rewrite my notes so that they're a little more self- and
others-friendly. <g>
