	From what I see, this file is for Netscape 3.01 or around that,
your version is newer. I don't know where the problem is, but looking at
deja.com, it seems to be a common one... 

	From what I know, you should be looking at /etc/X11/XF86Config
and at the fontpath in particular. How is it crashing? Does it spit out
any information at all?

	It looks you have to tar zxvf it on / and you're done.

	Give us a full account of the problem. Try seeing what ldd
netscape gives you (is there a library not being referenced?).

	Or you maybe just want to use mutt to read mail (now that's some
rock solid piece of software!).
