Can't Play Music CDs

Hello

I've tried to play a music CD with my CD-ROM which works fine with
anything else.

When I start KSCD it gives me the following error message......

"CDROM read or access error.  Please make sure you have
access permissions for /dev/cdrom "

Looked at the permissions.  Can't see anything wrong with them.

Any suggestions ?
