[Sheflug] H/W fault?

Hi, I think I have a flaky mobo. My SuSE6.3 system hangs part way through
the boot sequence just after it's recognized the HDD and CDROM. Usually it
just hangs with no message but occasionally I get something like

Unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address 001fee40
current->tss.cr3 = 00101000, %cr3 = 00101000
*pde = 00000000
Oops: 0000
  CPU:   0
EIP:  0010:[<c01fbc4b>]
EFLAGS: 00010086

.. and it goes on

Would I be right in thinking that the MMU or CPU has gone down? The mobo is
currently fitted with 2 16MB SIMMS but exhibited the same kind of fault
when a 128MB DIMM was installed. This leads me to suppose it's not a
physical memory thing.

Thanks for any help you can offer

Steve
