Sounds like a goodie ;)) Probably the best bet is to boot up to Linux (do
you have boot disks? If not, you'll need them!!) and use Linux fdisk to
try to get rid of the dodgy partition. Failing that, any decent Win
disk-doctor program ought to do the job (although, I don't think DOS fdisk
will be sufficient, but you could try I suppose). 

Next time you install Corel, it's probably worth partitioning the disk by
hand. For some reason it sounds like it has either a) got the hard disk
geometry wrong; or b) was interrupted writing the partition table to disk.
More likely the latter, I'd guess..
