Admin at our lab in .au swears by Amanda.  We use DAT tapes, so it gives a
wonderful excuse to make jokes about "Mounting Amanda".

We can also confuse newbies by saying that "Amanda's sending Daniel (the
SysAdmin) nasty mail (about not putting in a new tape)" and the newbie
replies with "Gee, he must have a real harsh girlfriend".  He's a real
computer nerd, though - no time for a girlfriend - just amanda.

Hmm, half a line of answer, a half dozen lines of reminiscence.  Oh dear...
