Add usepeerdns to your pppd arguments in kppp (or put this word on a line by
itself in /etc/ppp/options).

Now connect as usual. You can now find the DNS nameservers for your ISP in two
places. They are reported in /var/log/messages, so have a look at the last few
lines of that file. Also you can find a model for
/etc/resolv.conf in /etc/ppp/resolv.conf. So you can either copy the nameserver
addresses into kppp or you can directly write them into /etc/resolv.conf
yourself.
