Nope ;) I don't use diald, I run ppp in demand mode. I would imagine you
have to tell diald to notice https connections?

https is ssl. Where are tcp.www and tcp.ssl coming from ? /etc/services
should list http, but might not list ssl. I presume the tcp.www stuff is
all diald-specfic. You could try specifying the actual port numbers? 80
for http, 443 (I think) for https.
