Hmm. I don't know if that is the case. The traditional text admin stuff
has been developed and maintained for years; there is little point in
changing something to a different interface if people have been using it
and are used to it. Whereas, the 'newbie' unix market is relatively
undeveloped. It's kind of like urban regeneration: the old, crusty
buildings in the city have their mortar repointed once in a while, while
the new stuff is built around the outskirts. Occasionally, a large
development complete regenerates part of the city to modern standards.

It was you talking about 'prompt and answer' - I took that to mean
something like make config ;))

Hmmmm... has a command line, also has a text edit box, both places where I
can type stuff in, and I can change the focus between... does vi count?!

(I'm being provocative now, I think ;)
