I have a tar.gz'd version which I installed a couple of months
ago and which worked fine. This was a bete, but... Nothing about glibc
or anything. I just had to install a couple of extra packages.

Funnily enough, and according to what people have said,
installation is flawless in RH, but seems to be quite flaky in Corel's
own distro! (meaning you need to install two extra packages!). anyway, I
remember the tarball was a little shell script, which you can edit
accordingly. Nevertheless, try
http://linux.corel.com/products/wpo2000_linux/index.htm
That should sort you out...
