Hello all,
I am using a Kingson NIC based on the ever
popular DEC-21401 chipset.
I am using the tulip.o module to run the thing,
and everything works... for a while.
Whenever a timeout occurs (a lot on our network
:-( ) it attempts to autosense the media, and picks 10base2. I REALLY want
10baseT.
How can I force the media type? The only way to
set it back up an the moment is:
ifconfig eth0 downl; ifconfig eth0
up
This fixes everything, and I can see the NT
network again.
