i have windows 98 on my pc and would like to
transfer data to and from my
laptop whch has slackware linux
installed.
1) i have a 3c562d network/modem pcmcia
card.
linux says it is "not initialized properly at
bootup, how easy is it to install drivers
?
This would be the quickest i think, but can windows
and linux pass files over networks? Filesystems etc ?
2)how easy would it be to use pppd over a null
modem cable.
also i have a cable for direct cable connection
between parallel printer ports.
any help appreciated
