[Sheflug] static QT libs lost?
hi,
i've been trying to compile the new version of KMAIL. i'm having trouble with
QT though:-(
when i run the configure script, it runs without errors although it does say
'static QT libs not found'
on running 'make' most of the package complies ok. towards the end i get a
series of errors as listed.....
make[3]: Entering directory `/home/ross/kmail-1.0.29.2/kmail'
g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -I/usr/include/kde -I/usr/include/qt -O2 -Wall -c kmmainwin.cpp
In file included from kmmessage.h:7,
from kmmainwin.cpp:11:
/usr/include/mimelib/string.h:30: iostream.h: No such file or directory
the help files says i need QT 1.42 or newer..... i have QT 1.44 installed as
well as QT 2.01... these are standard packages which came with mandrake7.0
any help would be appreciated as this package has a bug fix i am after.
