Re: [Sheflug] LS120 Drives
LS120's work just fine. You have to remember tho' that they are IDE
devices, so will take up one place in your chain. For a single HDD
machine, the best way is:
hda - the hard disk
hdc - the ls120
hdd - the cd rom
and there you are. similarly, IDE ZIP drives are a dream (installed mine
and got a working mount point in less than 5 mins) but you do need a
seperate floppy drive.
You may wish to consider this second option? as ZIPs are more robust than
LS120's, and if your kids break your floppy drive again, and its really an
LS120, you ain't gonna be too chuffed. Better to keep the cheap,
disposable (!?) stuff for the kids, eh?
(I have got a 1 year old, so I know what they are like)

Life would be so much easier if we
could just look at the source code.
