Re: [sheflug] Helix cd



What in particular (casts mind back to 10 or more problems installing at
home).

There is a problem with the file manager, which boils down to (you guessed
it) missing libraries. libext2.so.2 to be exact. I have the RPM if you want
that.

Also, the installation is a bit weird. You have to copy
installer-intel-latest.gz to a temporary location, unzip it and run it, then
tell it to look at local media in /cdrom (or /mnt/cdrom, or whatever yours
is).

Also, it makes no attempt at integrating itself into the KDM list of window
managers, and I am not sure how to get round that one yet (I don't use KDE
:-( ) so I'll keep you posted,
