..and here's me thinking it was well known knowledge :) unreadable is good 
for those times you want a window doing a background task but you want to 
keep a vague eye on output...okay, you can't read it but you can tell when 
the output has changed. :)

Popular uses here are: the 'scroll on tty output', 'scroll on screen output' 
(if you want to scroll back through your history and not have the screen jump 
to the end each time summat happens...a right annoyance when it happens), and 
'enable scrollbar'. The most useless on there is TeK emulation ... in six 
years I've never seen a need for it :)
