Yep, there's your problem......

No, freeserve are just protecting themselves from spammers. What would there
be to stop you from using a dial-up account, and your own mail server, and
spoofing just about every piece of information in the email? Erm..... oh,
nothing ;)) The mail server your server is trying to send e-mail to doesn't
accept connections from servers known to be on a dynamic IP address - i.e.,
dial-up users.
Basically, you either have to relay through your ISP's mailserver (you'll
need authentication to do that, it won't be open ;), or get yourself a fixed
line. It's probably going to be easier to setup a relay system, although
depending on how their system is setup, it could make all the emails coming
from your server look like they're coming from one account. It depends on
why you set up your system like that, though. Given you're on a dial-up
line, you're downloading mail from existing mailboxes. Instead of using your
server as the outbound server, use your ISPs. That's going to be the easiest
solution. Unless you're going to host the mailboxes locally (i.e., fixed
internet link), doing anything else is probably going to be too much hassle.
Cheers,
Alex.
