Webmin is God's gift to anyone who needs to get a system up & going
without climbing many near-vertical learning curves to get there. Sure, it
doesn't do much for your understanding of the scripts etc. involved but
the end usually justifies the means.

Perhaps Webmin's greatest gift is cross-platform compatability - it
will work with many flavours of Linux, from Debian to SuSE, as well as
many Unices (FreeBSD, Solaris etc), so you get a consistent admin
interface on all platforms. Neat for those who despise YaST or LinuxConf
yet want a graphical config experience. Plus, of course, you can do the
admin stuff over any network link you want via any security-enabled web
browser.
