Yeah, well, unix usage is often kinda cryptic; you'd think there would
be a -s#, --section=# option, but there isn't (except as a degenerate
form of the --sections option, which actually sets a search path).

man man
info info

etc are typically available and useful.

Also, on Linux systems using GNU standard software, most utilities support
the --help option.
