eee back in't gud owd days.... I cut my teeth on a BBC B (in more ways
than one. Cut my lip too)
The old 8 bit, OS-less (for all intents and purposes) machines were great
for messing about in machine code (assembler, pah!) and the like, just
trying to see what you could make it do, Try it now you'd end up frying
various bits of yer kit.
time for the rose-tinted specs, methinks...
