[Sheflug] New Linuxhead in Sheffield

Hi to all,

My name is Perry Ismangil, and I will be in Sheffield for the next 3 
years at least.

I have quite a few years experience with Linux, I've been installing,
running, programming Linux continuously since 1993 (yes, the 
good old days of kernel 0.x). I am also co-founder of the first Linux 
company in Indonesia back in 1995 (Trabas, 
http://www.trabas.com) and currently serving as CTO.

Linux is quite popular in Indonesia, businesses have no qualms 
using them since other alternatives are much more expensive, and 
with companies like Trabas providing support, they get all the help  
they need.

I'm glad that Sheffield already has a LUG, and would like very much 
to participate as a member of sheflug. Also, if I can be any 
assistance to sheflug such as speaking (OK, evangelising :) about 
Linux and so on, I would only be too happy to help.

So, I'll probably see you all on the 7th Oct, at your next meeting.
