erm...well, I have come across some "keen" home users" who insist that
they know it all and can even manage to switch on a Windows machine at
the same time as nearly manage to install a Linux box.  What one of
these people would do if they were confronted with OpenBSD, Linux, and
a Solaris repair all at the same time I don't know ?

They seem to think that O'Reilly and Wrox and other books aren't
required and that anyone can just walk in after getting a degree in
reading bus tickets :)

Recently it was put to me that the IT lecturers at SHU are just these
sort of people.  That's  www.shu.ac.uk.  But, that's probably open to
discussion ?
