[Sheflug] Next Meeting of WYLUG - Monday 9th October 2000
We have a bumper session in October. Simon Wood is going to talk about Digital
Photography with Linux, hopefully with some helpful tips on using GIMP on the
images, and Ruediger Berlich of SuSE UK will talk on "Who's going to use Linux
and what for?". Ruediger says:
"The talk summarises the development of the Linux market over the years and
then tries to give an educated guess about where the Linux market is
going. This is based on actual figures and market analysis' as provided by
various organisations like IDC, Deutsche Bank, the Linux Counter, etc.
"
Ruediger is also prepared to talk about issues with the New SuSE 7 release
also.
