[Sheflug] Notebook Configuration
Dear All
After much chopping of the keyboard I've been able to find out why my
SuSE 6.4 notebook wouldn't compile from source.
* The kernel didn't install itself properly at the same time as the
rest of the system
* Several of the development tools didn't update the SuSE database
that tells the rest oft he system what to do.
I solved both of these by re-installing rpms and now most things
work. I decided to test it by compiling Kwvdial and this is the error
message that I am now looking at.......
" Checking for X... configure: error: Can't find X includes. Please
check your installation and add the correct paths ! "
So, what do I do with this ? Which part of X do I chop around ?
Thanks
